In a rare appearance on Tuesday, ALL nine Committee members ( the top
brass of PLA are members).... attended a reception hosted by the
Political Bureau Standing Committee of the Communist Party, the most
powerful political body in China.

One of the PLA top brass, Geng Yansheng told the media, foreign and
local that China is NOT preparing for war...the PLA is preparing to
defend against foreign invasion....
The PLA is ready to stop any armed intervention in the region
(Asian)...with whatever it takes. Shoudn't China prepare to fight in
the fact of invasion !?

He added that Beijing wanted to solve territorial disputes through
negotiation....but her neighbours must understand that the PLA has the
capability to resort to armed force when necessary (this is a direct
warning to the Philippines.)

--------

In the past months, China has been very restrained...chose diplomacy
instead of direct military actions in the face of repeated challenges
from her neighbours. Her neigbours mistook this restrains as a
weakness....that China fear USA intervention. China now know that
diplomacy will not work work with her greedy neighbours....it will not
stop the challenges from her neighbour... who is on the verge of
crossing the RED line. (China's core interests on territory
integrity.)

Now..China has officially given the WARNING,.. not the cross the red
line. ... the PLA WILL take military action !!! (to defend her mother
land)

The temperature in the water of the South China Seas is becoming
hot...just short of boiling. With the US election, China's leaders
succession...fueled by the greed of nations in SE Asia...the 60 years
of peace we have enjoyed in this region(except Vietnam) is coming to
an end.

All good things must come to an end.

When China sent troops to disputed islands, its the first step toward
war.

If the other party does not respond, that means China has taking
control of those islands.

If the other party DOES respond to China's move. They must also send
troops to the same islands. The result is war.

Disputed Islands ? You got your story wrong.

The realities are:

The Islands are owned by China ...Chinese fishermen have been
living on the larger islands for centuries.
For example ..there are thousands of Chinese... living on Sansha
Island in the South China Sea...it is like an island city.
After the war, in 1953 (around the time of Tibetan rebellion),
Moa re-established the "Guangdong Province Paracels, Spratlys,
and Zhongsha Islands Authority" to administer the islands in
South China Seas.
No one claimed these islands until recently when oil and gas
was found...NOT the USA, Japan or countries in S E Asia.

As a result of Obama's Pacific policy, China has no choice but to
deploy PLA marine and troops in the new garrison on the island of
Sansha. ...
If the USA were to invade the island, the PLA is ready to protect
China's territory and the thousands of life on Sansha island. I
think ...
the USA will NOT do that...China is not easy meat like Iraq.

The Philippines may invade Sansha.... but they are no match...unless
they are supported by US marines.
If that happens...the US can nuke the island and killed everyone
on the island. If that happened, it will be like Pearl Harbour in
reverse...
the start of WWIII.

Greed is the root of human suffering...much unhappiness.

China had built a great-wall to protect itself internally, the Hans had
never had a precedent of going all out to fight any war. I doubt China wants
to have war with its neighbour

Well, supposedly, another country also claims those islands.
So it's disputed islands.

China went to war in 1979 against Vietnam.
