An incident at the famous Tubbataha marine park...a World Heritage
site, known for its beautiful and rare corals... demonstrated the new
realities in the relationship between the ex-conqueror of the
Philippines and the ex colonial slaves.
Since Benigno Aquino has accepted Obama's decision (to be fair Aquino
had no choice).. to have US marines to be stationed in the
Philippines, the USA came back as the new masters of the
Philippines...and the US embassy has become the real power in the
Philippines (Aguino and govt. are to serve the US power in the
Pacific.)

On Monday, a US marine ship was seen charging towards the Tubbataha
coral Reef. The Captain of the Filipino coast guard warned the US
Marine Commander..that the US naval ship is NOT allowed to enter the
waters around the marine park and advised him nicely to turn around.

The US commander shouted insulting words... to the effect that the
USA owned the Philippines...and then told Filipino Capt to complain
to the US embassy in Manila. Then the US naval ship sailed
aggressively into the coral reef...damaging large areas of
corals....and would have sank the Filipino boat had it not moved
quickly out of the way.

The Filipino must face reality... the US is the most mighty naval
forces in the world...it means, the US marine could go where it
pleased, could do what it wished...NO ONE...especially the new
colonial nitwits (trying to stop a US marine craft)...can do a thing
about it.
In the terms Obama dictated to Aquino..US marines, US war ship and all
Americans are ABOVE the laws in the Philippines. It was a concession
to Aguino, that Filipino do not have to bow when they encounter US
marine and Americans.

There is NOTHING Aguino could do...in the face of the most powerful
gun in the world ..except to accept and bow deeply to the almighty
Americans.

should Philippines be bullied by China or by the USA?

--
I ask, becos I'm curious.

Just answer the damn question, not the questioner! Don't
presume. My personal matters/beliefs are none of your
business. I ask, you answer. If you think I am stupid,
you have already proven that you are stupid, not me. If
you don't know the answer, can you please "pass" to other
people to answer? thanks.

The Philippines are bullied heavily by China only.

The Philippines were bullied by Spain, then the U.S., then Japan, and
back to the U.S.
China hasn't bullied Philippines yet.

I think...the USA more than just bullied the Philippines.
Obama dictated to Aquino...to open bases for US Naval
and air force...to allow US forces and Americans to be
treated above the law of the Philippines... like the master
of the Filipino.
In short...Obama treat the Filipino no better than how
the black slaves were treated by US founding fathers.
.
Any country...NOT even the N Koreans would suffer
such ill treatment by the USA. It is a crying shame
to all Asian.

Today, China is not a threat to anyone, or to any nation.
It's only American propaganda that portrait China as a threat.
America is a threat to ALL nations that wants to govern themselves.

Looking at recent Chinese actions in the South China Sea, it is
obvious that they are a threat to the Phillipines and other countries
as well. The governments of those countries certainly perceive them as
a threat.

Territorial dispute has always been part of history.
From the past, it has always been settled by the power of the gun.
And it will continue to be settled by the power of the gun.

In this latest territorial dispute, China has been threatening the
Philippines.

These days, most adults hope that territorial disputes might be
resolved through the power of diplomacy. Right now the Chinese and
Japanese are trying to resolve their problems via diplomacy.

Breaking the Filipino law intentionally, just
to show that Americans are above the local
laws....is something new to the Filipino.

Instead of obeying the Filipino law (not allowing
any unauthorized ship to enter the Tubbataha
coral Reef..a protected area,) the commander of
the US war ship ignored the law..purposefully
charged into the protected area...a World Heritage
site,...doing extensive damages to the coral reef.

This make mockery of... the rule of law...in
the Philippines. Is the US navy the king or
the master of the Filipino...

When will the American start lynching and hanging
Fillipino ..like they did to the blacks... back home in
the USA ?

The U.S. did that already right after we took the Philippines away
from the Spaniards.

Talk to the U.S., England, and France. They were and still are the
first to use the power of the gun.

There won't be any settlement unless one is ready to give up their
claim to those islands.

Could you quote cases...that Americans had
done this ...before the Tubbataha coral Reef
incident... flouting (to show contempt for) the laws
of the Philippines.

Western Powers never respected Asian laws.
The power of the gun was the only law allowed.

My above comment was about "lynching and hanging the Filipinos".

This is not true...for all countries.
Remember....An American youth...who flouted
the vandalism law of Singapore was caned
and jailed according to the law of Singapore.
In 2005, an Australian drug trafficker was
hanged according to the law of Singapore.

In China, an American acted violently in
a train and was jailed for his misbehavior
according to law in China.

> Western Powers never respected Asian laws.

However, this is true ONLY in puppet nations
like Japan and S Korea....where US troops
could rape young girls...and local police
could do nothing. They are above the laws
in Japan and S Korea.

These are recent and minor events.

Overall, Westerners have their run all over Asia.
When events really count, Western Powers trump Asian laws
by power of the gun.

It's true in Asia, Africa, South America, Pacific and Atlantic
Islanders, the Middle East,...

As long as human nature has greed, lust and desires, there will always
be war.
