Has that earlier thread caused some ripples and had an effect?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to notice a reduction in the
volume of tv adverts for baby products, and a tendency for the babies
not to be naked now, certainly not displaying their buttocks any more,
nor being kissed on their bare bottoms by a model who is getting paid
for it.
It was about inconsistency, double standards, one law for you, while
manufacturers of baby products, advertising agencies, and mother's who
sell images of their babies' naked bodies to advertising agencies, and
models who kiss naked babies on their bare bottoms in front of
millions of tv viewers - all of the latter being above the law that is
so enthusiastically applied to other people.
The earlier thread was quite useful in places. The following are some
extracts:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"These infants are incapable of giving their consent to this parading
of their naked bodies in full public view, solely for financial gain.
The mothers of these babies get paid for letting their babies' naked
bodies be displayed for profit, and the manufacturers of Johnson's
baby wipes get paid via increased sales.
And the advertising agency get their cut, along with the glamorous
model who kisses the baby's bottom, and all on the basis of
exploiting babies' naked bodies solely for financial gain.
This looks very similar to child prostitution. The sole motive is
financial gain, for the mothers of the babies, for the advertising
firm, and for the manufacturers of the product being promoted.
What will those children think of this when they are old enough to
know that their mothers prostituted them as babies, selling images of
their babies' naked bodies for financial gain?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
If my naked body had been exploited for financial gain when I was a
baby, and paraded publicly for all the perverts to masturbate
over....
I know what I would say to my mother in adult life............
How much did they pay you for prostituting my body, Mummy? Was it
worth it? What did you spend the money on, Mummy?
And this is happening in Europe and North America, and being done by
mothers who are not short of a bob or two.
If the mothers were in South East Asia, and desperate for money to
feed their baby, and used the advertising agency fee to nurture the
same baby to make a difference to his health and development, that
would be different. But it is not so.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If we approach this solely on a legalistic basis, we can start by
noting that in Europe and North America people are being jailed,
fined, losing their jobs and even being kicked to death by vigilantes
for possessing images like the ones being peddled to make money for
Johnsons, for the mothers of the babies, and for the advertising
agency. Yet seemingly these people are immune to prosecution, they
are
above the law.
If the law does not apply equally to everyone, there is no law.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For example, if you place a framed picture on your desk at work
showing an adult kissing a baby on his bare bottom, because you see
it
as a delightful image of maternal love, signifying hope for humanity,
you will lose your job and be fined or jailed and placed on the sex
offenders register, although such images of several adults kissing
several babies on their bare bottoms are being shown on our tv
screens
every hour, while those responsible are not punished."
[end of quotes]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A major point in that earlier thread was ignored:
The question of how such babies will feel when they grow up, and their
mothers proudly show them video recordings of those adverts, gushingly
exclaiming: " look! you were on tv when you were a baby!"
And the mother is so "out of it" that she has no idea what she was
doing to her baby and how he would feel about it when he became old
enough to know.... that millions of tv viewers were looking as his
body without his permission and that a glamorous model got paid for
kissing his bare bottom in front of millions of tv viewers. Put
yourself in that baby's place. How would you feel if you found out
that had been done to you as a baby, for money, and that paedophiles
had been masturbating over the sight of your bare bottom, and probably
still are doing so today and for the rest of your life, while looking
at their cherished recordings of those adverts....
How would you feel, if that baby had been you?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that earlier thread seems to have caused
some ripples, and it looks like the ads for baby products are more
carefully crafted today.
It was a case of removing an inconsistency and applying the law
equally to all, as well as safeguarding people from the pain they will
experience if they find out later in life that their naked bodies were
cynically exploited for profit by their mothers and commercial firms
when they were not in a position to give consent.
I don't seek out those images. I just see them flashing by when I fast
forward through the ads. If you can confirm that there really has been
a change for the better in the content of those ads, it's a tribute to
the power of the internet, and I'm glad we were able to help.
Just for curiousity, where do they find these babies?
Do they place an advert in the Evening Standard saying:
"ARE YOU WILLING TO PROSTITUTE YOUR NAKED BABY FOR CHILD PORN ADVERT
ON PRIME TIME TV? WE NEED PARENTS WHO ARE WILLING TO SURRENDER THEIR
BABY TO US TO BE STRIPPED COMPLETELY NAKED AND PLACED UNDER BRIGHT
LIGHTS ON A FILM SET AND PAWED AND KISSED ON HIS BARE BOTTOM BY OUR
MODEL. BIG MONEY FOR RIGHT BABY. APPLICANTS MUST BE STUPID ENOUGH TO
IMAGINE THAT THERE IS SOMETHING GLORIOUS ABOUT SELLING IMAGES OF YOUR
NAKED BABY FOR SHOWING ON PRIME TIME TV, AND STUPID ENOUGH TO IMAGINE
THAT YOUR CHILD WILL BE AS STUPID AS YOU WHEN HE GROWS UP AND FINDS
OUT WHAT YOU DID TO HIM."
