What do you think of this movie?  I haven't seen it yet but, I've read
reviews that on both sides of the spectrum say either:  it sucks and it
is pretentious or it is really good.
 Signed,
                (My new moniker) DannyBoy
P.S.  I don't know if they use that Simon & Garfunkel tune but, they
should.  I'm listening to it on my headphones as I type away.  What a
great song.  "Asking only workman's wages, I come looking for a job but,
I get no offers. Just a come on from the whores on Seventh Avenue."
Those guys KNOW New York.  Not just from that line of course;  they
speak to the vastness, the arrogance, the rich, the poor,  the
excitement, the danger, the loneliness, the neighborhoods,
fahgedaboudit.
I'm gettin' off topic here: I guess they do have some new version of
"Danny Boy" in the movie.  I am vaguely aware of the new version of the
song.  Who sings that tune?

Just about everyone, once they have enough alcohol inside them.

Bloody awful song and terrible music, too (the new one)....

Danny Boy in the movie is sung by a character from New Jersey named Billy
Briggs (aka "Irish" Billy Briggs), who has at least 1 tape released.
He owns a bar in Trenton , NJ, so if youre ever in that neck of the woods drop
in.
He's a gas man.
