Afghan is the faukt of obooboo not Bush.Bush had no intentions of
sending in any large amount of troops there as he knew it was
tacticaly unsound and would also destroy our main objective.When all
we had were special forces and other black ops there working hand in
hand with the mountain tribes we were having great seccess.When the
idiot obooboo who said if elected he would sensd in no more than
perhaps 1 brigade and did just the oppositte he completey threw our
main objective out the dorr.Now our best bet is to pull out and cut
our losses,quit wasting moeny and lives

Bush still thinks a tactic is a small breath mint.
Any "tactic" he came up with was the work of his dual-allegiance advisors,
who seized on 9/11 to have America fight the war Israel could, or would, not
fight...the one to squash Saddam Hussein. What the US should have done, if
they had to go into Afghanistan, was complete one objective, get Osama and
Al Qaeda. Instead, we (and I say that because there were and are other
countries involved) were caught up in the whole regime change, turn the
country on it's head and expect it to function, malarkey. It wasn't
necessary. The prime goal was to take the head off Al Qaeda, which has not
been done. Back when his whereabouts were known, a relatively small force
with air support could have encircled him to keep out any Taliban who came
calling, while the area was combed for bad guys, then exit stage left.
Minimum death, and expense for maximum result. Instead we poured huge
resources along with a great many lives into fighting wars about installing
new governments, which did not have to be fought and killed tens or hundreds
of thousands of innocent people needlessly.
We had the blessing of most of the Muslim world to destroy Bin Laden and his
little empire after the 9/11 attacks. Instead, because the war on terrorism
was hijacked for an entirely different purpose, that support was squandered
and the majority of Muslims now don't support us and see us as Crusaders,
attacking them and their religion.
