This exhibition provides an intriguing account of developments in Iranian
art from the last 40 years. Many works of art - both from before and after
the 1979 revolution and including a substantial group from Tehran Museum of
Contemporary Art - are exhibited for the first time outside Iran.

Iranian Contemporary Art is organised by Barbican Art in association with
the Iran Heritage Foundation and Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.

Supported by Balli Klockner plc with additional support provided by Asia
House, Delfina Studios, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Iran Society,
Visiting Arts.

Thanks to Balli Klockner plc's interest
in Iranian art. It's heart-warming to know
British-German steel conglomorates have
developed a new found interest in Iranian
art. "Contributing to the arts" - that's what
it's all about . . . nothing like mixing art
with business :)

And nothing like an old, biter, loser fart making a fool out of himself on a
daily basis either :)
