Bannurmath opts out of Lokayukta post, slams Bhardwaj

Hurt by 'personal and reckless' allegations of Governor H. R.
Bhardwaj who rejected the BJP Government's recommendation for his
appointment as Lokayukta, former Kerala High Court chief justice S.
R. Bannurmath on Tuesday opted out of the post ending the three-month
long stand-off.

Launching a tirade against Mr. Bhardwaj a day after he 'formally'
rejected his appointment, Mr. Bannurmath questioned the motive behind
the action of Governor. He said Mr. Bhardwaj citing reasons other
than alleged land scam linking him can be seen as "a ploy to give way
for other political consideration".

Maintaining that the continued attack in the press on his integrity
and character were totally based on "false, baseless, legally
untenable and hurtful allegations", he told reporters here that he
had requested Chief Minister D. V. Sadananada Gowda not to consider
him for the post.

"I have lost mental peace and my health is affected on account of
false and baseless allegations affecting my image and reputation in
the eyes of the public. I am not in a position to bear this torture
and humiliation any more," he said reading out from his letter to Mr.
Gowda.

Mr. Bhardwaj, who had insisted on 'spotless' candidate for the
Lokayukta post, had expressed reservations over Mr. Bannurmath's
choice citing a land allotment controversy involving him.

The post of Lokayukta has remained vacant since September 19 after
former Supreme Court Judge Shivaraj Patil, who succeeded Santosh
Hegde, quit in the wake of allegations of getting land allotment in
violation of rules. 'Karnataka is the second BJP ruled state after
Gujarat to be rocked by a row involving the Governor on the
appointment of Lokayukta. Gujarat has moved the Supreme Court
questioning the Governor's action in appointing Lokayukta
unilaterally without consulting the state government.

Who's a secular politician in India. The INC. They are the most
communal party in India's history. They have ruled by dividing India
on casteist and religious grounds. They only pander to the muslim vote
because the muslims are more united in that sense. The Hindu vote is
divided so the INC realized a long time back to pander to the muslim
vote and get that 17 to 18 percent in thier pocket. That leaves them
with only about 20 percent of the Hindu vote to garner.(One can rule
at the centre garnering about 30 to 32 percent of the entire country's
vote). That way no matter how bad their governance only the useless
INC will come to power. For they have that 17 to 18 percent vote
locked in. Till the muslims of India realize how they are being
manipulated nothing will change. The day the muslims realize that they
want a better life and so they must stop pandering to the congress
party that will be the day India will rise to its true potential.

"Secular" is a code word for Christian-communist-Muslim-pseudo-Hindu
in Bharat. Add to this the fact that true Hindus have been reduced
to being a minority, although not officially recognized as such,
after centuries of invasions, massacres, illegal rule and occupation
by foreigners -- mainly Muslims and Christians. Very strong and
effective activism is needed by true Hindus to regain Bharat.
