Radio & Indian Programs

Hi Netters,

I am thinking of purchasing a radio to enjoy Indian Programs broadcast by
different radio stations of the world.
I have some questions regarding it and will appreciate any information
and pointers.

1) I live in San Francisco Bay Area, California, U.S. Do you think I
will be able to catch any worthwhile Indian programs in here.

2) Which radio should I go for. Pardon my ignorance; Are Worldband
radio different from Shortwave Radios. How good are the Worldband
Radios by Grundig.

3) I am thinking of spending no more than $200-250 on the Radio. Do
you think I can get a decent Radio for Indian programs in this price
range. I am more interested in Musical Indian programs and particularly
Hindi movie songs and ghazals.

I will be thankful if you can email me your replies and post it on the
net too.
