on what I just talked to some relatives in Laos... only that Dec 15 is
the starting of the Hmong NY in Laos....nothing special.... only
spending lots of money even though things are cheap but everything
required money and each trip, each person would spend no less that
couple of $K. So, this year, one thing is for sure....it would be the
BEST year for Laos to earn some real good income from the Hmong
"tourists"... with pockets full on green bills vs. those millions of
Back Packers who spend about $10/day... roaming across Laos.

The only different is that this year is the 1st year of the post-VP
period... and may be this is the reason that so many Hmoob are heading
back to Laos??? Some Jumbo must be almost filled with Hmong-US!!!
