repatriation of several dozen hilltribe people to Laos last week
turned violent, according to rights advocates in the US.
Yang Chao, 68, and his son Peng Chao, 21, were reportedly beaten by
Lao officials because they tried to resist being put on boats to go
back across the Mekong to Vientiane on September 28.
Witnesses rang Hmong advocates in the US to say that Yang Chao, who
was handcuffed at the time, was knocked senseless, then allegedly
dumped from one boat when it was halfway across the river.
They claim his son Peng Chao was also beaten unconscious in Nong Khai
while arguing against being forcibly returned. His body was also
allegedly thrown into the river, advocates said.

Thanouxay lied to the international that the Hmong People painted Lao
PDR with bad images which no evidence. All the evidences from Hmong
and Amnesty international were fabricated Lao PDR said. Mr. Yong
Chanthalangsy, Thanouxay, will not respond to Lao PDR's cause.

1. How come that Lao officials can cross to Thailand (Nongkhai) and
forced them to go back to Laos?
2. How come that they didn't use the bridge between Nongkhai
(Thailand) and Vientiane (Laos) which is the most common crossing mean
and use boat instead?

1. Thailand and Laos are two sovereign countries and police officers
are not allow to operate freely on each other territory...
2. Lao police never used force in the handling of illegal immigrants
and is not allow in any case to force anybody to go back to Laos from
the territory of a foreign country.

As far as the Lao Government represented Mr. Yong Chanthalangsy, the
Ambassador Permenent Representative of Lao PDR to UNOG in Geneva is
concerned, I do not have any doubt because I know that he is in
permanent contact with all the concerned International Organisations
and the UN agencies to address whatsoever issue of concern with them.
This seem to be OK because you may notice that the Hmong issue had
suddently desappeared from the agenda of those organisations and the
good image and the prestige of Lao PDR are getingt better and better
day-by-day.

I visit Laos once every year total 9 times, toured Savanakhet and up
Northern states except Phongsali and asked Phinong Hmong and Phinong
Lao how they like the Lao PDR government. 90% of the interviewed
people do not want this current government, how can you tell that Laos
is getting better every day. You may be less than 50% Laotian to
appreciate what has sold to foreigners and taken away from Laos
without worrying what will happen in 100 years.
Lao may have bad dreamed of Hmong issues be eliminated from the UN
agenda why Mr. Yong has heavily lobbied most of the Asian states, on
the other hand Lao PDR has continued oppressing the Hmong in close
door. Don’t forget to look behind your back and determine who is your
boss?

Unless you can provide proof, you allegation is only allegation and if
you still cannot give proof to support you allegation, then it is just

While back in the country, the Hmong like other ethnic groups are
living peacefully and develop themselves for a better future.

LPDR always loud the things are very sweet even if those things are bitter beyond any known material. one feature for sure in your statement above hmong ethnic group developing for their future. given the freedom for them and you will see them pushing/leading the way for better future. BUT oppression them more and you will see them turning a good situation into an oven for baking human flesh. when good they are good to the core and when bad they are bad right into the bone.

The Chinese and Vietnamese will show Lao PDR proofs in the near
future. Laos is no longer Lao’s land, it is falling apart no matter

Hmong is not ethnic group, is indigenous people in the Southeast Asia
and greater Asia. Because of your rogue government’s secret plan to
eradicate all the Hmong since 1975 why there has never been peace in
Laos. The situation there is out of Lao PDR control which must force
its government to lease and sell the lands and all the natural
resources to the foreigners as of coownership to prevent any mean
action from the Hmong because Lao PDR have killed more than a hundred
thousand Hmong people and are still ongoing hunting and killing the
Hmong systematically.
