LONG, by the seat of my pants, stream of consciousness rambling.... on this topic of religions and the utter ignorance as wells as the evil perpetrated against different humans groups... in the name of religions and their gods...

People who need the various religions (Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and ALL the THOUSANDS of other beliefs in the past, that have been forgotten and all the ones to CROP UP in the distant future, if humans go on existing for many more thousands, to tens of thousands, of years)... are those who refuse to grow up, who refuse to stop sucking their thumbs, stop sucking on PACIFIERS... they are people who, educated or not, need to carry around their little TODDLER "blankie" for "comforting purposes."
The "argument" (indeed, the PICTURE... you have take a step back & visualize this picture in your head)... that since the "Big Bang" 13.8 or so BILLIONS years ago.... the visible parts of the Cosmos alone, has grown into a place so vast, it has around 400 BILLION GALAXIES, the size of our Milky Way Galaxies (with BILLIONS more of the tiny ones), and each of these 400B of Milky Way size galaxies has from around 100 to 400 BILLION STARS, like our sun (some a bit bigger, some a bit small)....
.... that many GENERATIONS of mighty stars have formed, lived out their fast, big, and extremely "hot" life-spans, EXPLODED and, with hot enough temperatures, SEEDED our region of the Milky Way Galaxies with the HEAVY ATOMS (elements: Lithium, Oxygen, Carbon, Gold, Silver, Nitrogen, Fluorine, Sodium, Calcium, Potassium, Uranium, etc.)... so that LIFE on earth could have ARISEN, slowly, through EVOLUTIONARY PROCESSES, with 99% or so of ALL CREATURES ever having existed HAVING ALREADY DIED OUT... of the last 4.5 or so BILLION YEARS...
... to allow small mammals to rise up, after the demise of the great dinosaurs, around 65M years ago, due to A GIANT rock from space.... to EVOLVE into a creature that would SPLIT into the various current monkeys and apes (WE ARE APES, but less hairy than our hairier ones, like the Orangs, Chimps, Bonobos, and Gorillas)...
.... so that early HOMO SAPIENS could evolve further, to give rise to MODERN HUMANS who, then, started migrating out of Africa, between 50-70,000 years ago, to populate different parts of this world.... each group, each tribe, TRYING to understand its environment, in CRUDE WAYS... using the VERY LIMITED knowledge they had, of their world, TENS OF THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO... when NO ONE knew what caused earth quakes or volcano activities, why there's solar or lunar eclipses, why germs, bacteria, and viruses kill or not kill their hosts, and which viruses and bacteria are deadliest to humans... why or how major rains or floods came about....
And ALL those early tribes and ancestors of ours could do were to PRAY to "the spirits" and "gods" and "creators who created everything in the world"... and to MAKE SACRIFICES, of beautiful, young virgins and other animals.... the bigger and harder to come by, the MORE those early tribes said/believed THE GODS or GREAT SPIRITS of the sky or ANCESTORS coveted the most....
And ALL these have been happening.... since MODERN humans left Africa 50-70,000 years ago.... ENDLESS TRIBES, with endlessly different and SIMILAR beliefs about such powerful spirits and creators and gods, etc.....
..... and to *think* ALL OF THEM were WRONG....
.... and the only REAL BELIEF, the only real religion, the real "holy knowledge" of the universe... must wait, ACCORDING TO CRAZY CHSITIANS, until the ROMANS reached their height, a time they conquered and ruled from England to minor Asia.... so those Romans could KILLED GOD --- who made himself into an EASILY KILLED person, MAGICALLY INSERTED HIMSELF into a VIRGIN Jewish-Palestinian girl, 12-14, never having intercourse --- so God/Jesus would die, "to rise from the grave and lift straight back to heaven"... so God/Jesus could CLEANSE homo sapiens ORIGINAL SIN, which was caused in the Garden of Eve, when the TALKING SNAKE and other FAIRY TALE EVIL DOERS corrupted Adam and Eve, into eating "the fruit of knowledge, or sin, of sorrow...." so they could be BANNISED by God from that Garden....
.... and, later, so God wave his magic wand and FLOODED the earth, DROWNING Adam and Eve's many other even more evil offspring... but with CONTINGENCY PLANS.....via NOAH and Noahs sons... who gathered pairs of all organisms and creatures on earth, from viruses, crickets, fish, worms... to T-REX and BILLIONS of others creatures.... onto their NOAH'S ARK boat....

It goes without saying, if you wanted more evidence of the evil of giant religions, read how the CHRISTIANS and MUSLIMS killed, raped, tortured, and conquered and counter-conquered each other, in the Mid East, North Africa, and southern Europe, from the founding of Islam, in the 7th century, until the 1300 or so...
Two superstitions --- Christianity and Islam --- branching off FROM THE SAME parental superstition, Judaism, of ABRAHAM... Muslims and Christians have persecuted, tortured, and killed each other on scales of crimes and in degree of heinousness as well as in duration NO OTHER major superstitions come close....
Religions, if you take MANY STEPS away from your own place and time, and look at them as objectively as possible, from SOME DISTANCE... religions are really nothing more than PURE IGNORANCE that has INFECTED the human head/mind and has turned, of the millenniums into a FORM OF INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP PSYCHOSIS.

But when you see groups of thousands to MILLIONS singing, dancing, reading and REGURGITATING fairy tales of fantastical creation, miracles, heavens and eternal parties up there, with "the Lord".... it is MUCH MORE difficult to truly understand such NEUROTIC, GROUP PSYCHOSIS as being "mentally" disturbed acts and beliefs... for many reasons:
It used to be, THEY could accuse you of being "sick" and tied you to the stake and burnt you to death... today, only "fringe" Islamists still do that, or similar things, in some parts of the world, from the Middle East to southern Southeast Asia...
