Saturday, June 22nd... Marv Puha (aka House) is in town... he like
party with the online gan.

Marv. He's been a moving force with the Bay Area online contingent...

I'm doing the "round-the-island-tour" for a friend of mine from out of
town. But now that I think about it, I don't think we'll be running
*that* late. Maybe we will pop by. Do we *have* to eat there? My friend
is a vegetarian and I don't know how she'll react to the big slabs of
roast beef being cut up there. :>

They do offer salad type veggies. I think you may have to
pay the $18 anyway if you are going to eat, but it is a big
plate.
No worry the rest of us are not going to be offended if your
friend just eats the veggies.
I think that there is someplace else we are heading off
too after dinner. Panther has some suggestions.

Hard to say who ate the most, the House or Helen.
But the restaurant will stay in business because they
made money on Neal and me.
A terrible thing, to sit with the House and have nothing
but iced tea or fruit punch to drink. That place needs
to put some beer on the table.

Yup... pretty close. Helen was the first to get seconds, tho. And
I'm pretty sure one of Marv's pals got up three times to get in the
buffet line.
Marv was the clear winner in the dessert department.

Shame too... I skipped lunch... hungrier than a cockroach when it was
time to eat. Maybe I took too much on the first pass.

Well, Marv is a party all by himself. I'm glad he took the time out
of his vacation to sit for a little while with us. I had a pleasant
time. Hope it can happen again soon, too.

Mainly because I eat fast and I tend not to talk while I am eating.
I know Marv went twice, I went three times but I had less on my plate
each time I went up and I didn't finish my prime rib (which was a
bummer).

The plates are bigger than usual, but main thing you enjoyed the
food.
