National and local elections this May will continue to occupy most
Filipinos, including those living and working abroad. The importance
of the results, in terms of reversing or reducing graft and corruption
in government, cannot be overemphasized. FILGLOBAL, via the internet,
has deemed it a duty to remind voters back home to choose candidates
wisely, and right or wrong, boldly recommends 12 senatorial
candidates.
Many, specially the early OFWs, reminisce those bygone days when the
Philippines was second to Japan and choose only to sulk in disgust now
that economically and militarily, we are the Sick Nation of Asia,
perceived to be the most corrupt in the region. For an overseas
Filipino, to simply shrug this off goes against the grain of love of
country, patriotism and duty. Global Filipinos can do something! They
must not ignore the call to make a difference. Someday, many will
likely go home to retire.
Even from distant shores Global Pinoys can help make the Philippines a
better place. There is no better time to start than NOW!
Remitting $12-14 billion annually to family and relatives has not
really changed anything insofar as reducing graft and corruption in
government, or instilling discipline among the populace. If we care
economically, why can't we care in more fundamental ways beyond
curbing corruption, such as teaching relatives those courteous,
disciplined ways we learned abroad? Like it or not, the 10 million
overseas Filipinos ARE the new middle class. Historically, it bocomes
our obligation to push for positive changes. And remember, underneath
that brown skin, Filipino caring blood flows no matter what country or
citizenship we have adopted.

CITIZEN)
SAAN MAN KAYO NAROROON:
Oportunista, Wannabes, non-patriots, Money and power hungry.
pag-boto. Tayo'y magka-isa upang isilang ang "FILIPINO GLOBAL ALLIANCE
FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE."

A MESSAGE FROM FILIPINO GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE!
"FILGLOBAL"
To all Filipinos in the Philippines, OFWs and Expatriates who care for
the future of our old country please read this!.....
According to official statistics, 39.5 percent of Filipinos, or more
than five million families, lived below the poverty threshold in 2000.
Poverty is number one reason that is why we are in sorry state of
misery..... Many voters are vulnerable to patronage, vote buying,
simplistic messages like dancing and singing actors and actresses. We
have to educate them and ask them who will suffer if we elect these
incompetent and corrupt officials?
Due to their simple wrong selection of candidates their sons and
grandson will be on the receiving end. This is the reason why I am
suggesting to all FILIPINOS WHO CARES FOR THE SURVIVAL OF THE NATION
that we teach them of whom to vote. Who will suffer most of their
mistakes? The POOR and the whole country.... The "masa" vote is
popularly perceived to be dumb, unthinking, and prone to manipulation.
Just for a 100 pesos they will be succumbed to vote for the candidate.
We should teach them to accept the money but not to vote for them.
These incompetent/corrupt candidates have a very good chance of
getting elected, most of our voters think that what they can do in the
movies, they can do in real job in legislative branch. Celebrities ,
actors, opportunist, wannabes, non-patriots, money and power-hungry
candidates. Governors and mayor in many provinces who are well known
corrupt and the TRAPOS (traditional politicians) mainly the corrupt
ones will be elected again. Have you seen an actor lose in Philippine
election? No!!
If we are just going to wait and not to do something to prevent this
from happening, these candidates will be in our senate, they will be
the one who will legislate and enact our laws, this senate will be
more useless than ever before. What we need are officials who are able
to articulate their very good ideas efficiently in law making body
debate like Ninoy Aquino, Carlos P. Garcia, Osmena, Tanada, Manglapus,
Diosdado Macapagal, Ferdinand Marcos if he is not greedy, Jovito
Salonga, Manuel Quezon, Ramon Magsaysay etc., and fill it up with
mostly incompetent people what will happen to the country? It is going
to turn to "Opera House Movie Theater?"
They will be not only corrupt but also incompetent, senators who will
suck their "Pork Barrel" in billion of pesos yearly. We might as well
go for PARLIAMENTARY or they must have enacted laws that will say only
competent and honest person must be candidate to eliminate these
problems in our Law Making Body, the problem is they will block it
because they will be in power.
We need to act right now, FILGLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE is
the one way of diminishing the chances of country from becoming
stagnant and very poor nation. This alliance was started by Difransan,
Steve, Ron, Edel, Marion, Leo, Lito, Rey, Jojo, Ador, Batabatuta,
Bing, Astro B, JJ60, GPE, Jojo, and Mike (jdlc) in Philippine News
Link forum.
Our STRATEGIES is to help elect government officials who are
qualified, honest patriotic, have high moral values who place public
interest above self-interest. To get involve as a group to stop the
"TRAPOS" (traditional politicians,) political dynasties, actors and
sports personalities from getting elected to national and local
positions.
We should teach them to accept the vote buyers money but not to vote
for them, do not vote for corrupt, greedy, irresponsible, selfish,
with too much vices and abusive. Let us start now! If you love your
country, PLEASE PASS THIS EMAIL MESSAGES to your relatives, friends
and countrymen. Please send this to all OFWs and Expatriates, until
the nation is save from spiraling humiliation.... We have to start
now, it is better late than never....
If we all send this to other Filipinos who cares, we will be in 10
million voters before the election. Philippines has to survive this
crisis of actors, actresses and corrupt politicians. If you agree,
please send me email at JDLC...@yahoo.com, if you don't, just ignore
this letter. But spreading this message will be appreciated by your
grandchildren. But PLEASE if you do, RE-SEND THIS EMAIL LETTER TO THE
REST OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, this might save the miserable nation
from turning to extreme poverty....
If you want to help the "FILGLOBAL" alliance for good governance to
Eradicate the spreading corruption and ineptitude in our government
officials that is aggravating the growth of the our country, then
voice your opinion and say YES I WILL JOIN. Just simply send it to
jdlc1234@yahoo. and say "YES to FILGLOBAL" and let us join hand in
hand to expel this wickedness in our government officials. Email this
letter NOW to persuade and convince all voters to annihilate the pest
in our government.
Sincerely,

affairs, energy, foreign affairs, games and amusement, Government
Enterprises and privatization, information Communication Technology,

of 74 bills and all enacted into laws. Starting from HB01743 down to

PRIVATIZATION OF CERTAIN INDIVIDUAL GENERATION ASSETS BY THE POWER
SECTOR ASSETS AND LIABILITIES MANAGEMENT CORPORATION 50. HB03472 AN
ACT ESTABLISHING THE PHILIPPINE EMERGENCY AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT
AUTHORITY AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFORE and so on and on. I think the
other inept and ridiculous wanna-bees like actors and actresses can
not do it.
Joker Paz Arroyo: Arroyo was the very first lawyer to challenge the
act before the Supreme Court and questioned its legality under the
1935 Philippine Constitution. Arroyo participated/defense side in the
trials of political detainee such as Senator Benigno Aquino, Jr., ABS-
CBN Executive Eugenio Lopez Jr., Cebu politician Sergio Osmena lll,
Communist Party Philippines founder and U.P. Professor Jose Maria
Sison, Senators JOvito Salonga and Eva Kalaw, and mostly opposition
Aquilino Pimentel Jr., Renato Tañada, Eduardo Olaguer and many others.
Arroyo served as Counsel of Cory Aquino during the snap election.
During the first EDSA Revolution, he served as one Aquino's key
advisers. Arroyo has received various awards and commendations for his
significant contributions to the law profession and public service.
etc.etc. He was one of the last congressmen who signed the endorsement
for the impeachment of Erap.

REGULATION since 2004-07-28 etc, etc. He is in the opposition side but
he is good. Wanna-bes or actors can not beat him. Chosen by FILGLOBAL
for good accomplishment and not corrupt. Just trouble maker.
Loren Legarda: Throughout her six-year tenure in the Senate from 1998
to 2004, she authored legislation benefitting women and children, such
as the Anti-Domestic Violence Act and the Anti-Trafficking in Persons
Act. She is also the author of the Ecological Solid Waste Management
Law and the Tropical Fabric Law, which is consistent with her advocacy
for indigenous fabric. She has put to school dozens of former child
laborers through the Libro ni Loren Foundation, and conducts regular
medical missions benefitting indigent breast cancer patients through
the Bessie Legarda Memorial Foundation. She is an environmentalist, and
is a recipient of the United Nations Environment Program Award (UNEP.
She is better than Estrada's, Lapids, Revillas, Sotto, Joma and other
actors. FILGLOBAL gladly chosen her.of the
ZUBIRI, JUAN MIGUEL F. He graduated from the University of the
Philippines in 1990 earning a degree in Agricultural Management.
Afterwards assumed the District Chief of Staff position of his father,
former Congressman and now Bukidnon Governor Jose R. Zubiri, Jr. HOUSE

FILGLOBAL to let him go he is much better than other candidates like
Estradas, Lapids, Joma, Sotto and other corrupt officials.
Senator Edgardo Angara: Member of the House of Representatives, most
of his legislative measures, which were enacted into law deal with
economic reforms and poverty alleviation. His legislative measures
especially those related to taxation have a grave impact on inflation
rates. Among which are the Social Reform and Poverty Alleviation Act;
the Philippine Economic Zone Law; Amendment to the Special Economic
Zone Law; the Retail Trade Liberalization Law; Regional Headquarters
Law and the Comprehensive Tax Reform Law. In the current Senate, he
chairs the Committees on Ways and Means and on Trade and Industry. He
holds the distinction of being the youngest elected member of the
House of Representatives during the 9th Congress. A feat he replicated
when he became the youngest Senator of the 12th Congress at the age of
37.
Manny Villar: He became the housing industry leader building more than
100,000 houses for the poor and middle-class Filipino families. He
garnered various awards such as the Ten Outstanding Young Men Award
(1986) by the Philippine Jaycees, Agora Award for Outstanding
Achievement in Marketing Management (1989), Most Outstanding CPA by
the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (1990) and
Most Outstanding UP Alumnus (1991). On his second year in office ,
Manny Villar steered the 11th Congress into a record breaking
achievement in legislation and economic reforms. For his constituency
work and fulfilling a personal vow, he was able to work the grant of
homesites to some 10,000 poor families in Barangay CAA, Las Piñas
City. Etc. etc.
Teresa Aquino-Oreta: This is the truism Senator Teresa "TAO" Aquino
Oreta maintained as Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Education,
Arts and Culture of the 11th Congress, and still maintains even as she
handles a different committee in the 12th Congress.A strong advocate
of women's health empowerment, she authored Republic Act 6864
eventually led to the creation of the MAKATAO Center for Women
Center / San Lorenzo District Hospital for women in Malabon in March
1998.In the three years she has been in office, Senator Aquino Oreta
had filed 197 Senate Bills (authored and co-authored) and resolutions,
related to education, youth, women, family relations, health, local
governments, trade and commerce, foreign relations, agriculture,
agrarian reform, justice, public works, human rights, cooperatives,
labor, mass media, electoral reforms, government service, environment,

other concerns. Some of her bills that have been signed into law

We should have included THEODORE (Kuya Ted) B.M. AQUINO due to fact
that he is one hope that global Filipinos and their families will be a
force for political change; and hope that much needed resources will
be forthcoming to bring about that change. He good a seven-point
program: 1. Poverty alleviation, consistent with environmental
protection. 2. Transparency, accountability and performance in public
office. 3. Equal rights for all Filipinos, including proportional
representation and migrants' rights. 4. Private sector dominance and
government shrinkage. 5. Respect for justice, law and order. 6. An
educational system that develops competitive global citizens. 7.
Charter change for good governance and the common good.
