Beyonce can't seem to get a break from certain countries. She's been banned from
performing in Malaysia and prior to her performance in Egypt both Christian and
Muslim religious groups condemned her as evil. Now after pleasing her Egyptian
fans she's being criticized by the famed Egyptologist Zahi Hawass who escorted
her around the Pyramids. According to reporter Summer al-Gamal, Hawass referred
to Beyonce as a "stupid person" after becoming annoyed by her lack of interest
and enthusiasm also saying, "I showed her the Sphinx and I gave her a book on
King Tutankhamen - She’s a stupid person and she doesn’t understand a thing and
she doesn’t want to understand... She’s coming here to take pictures and that’s
it.'"

I'm not sure what else Hawass was expecting from a celebrity. I'm starting to
