But Hindus and Buddhists have KARMA to explain things. And crazy as
it seems, karma appears to pose no potential threats to other beliefs,
other deities.
None of that idiotic-but-bloody Sunni-Shiite crap.
Karma just provides armchair "reasons" for why shit happens.

After a natural disaster strikes in the United States, the question
almost immediately arises: Where was God? Or, did God allow this to
happen?
Half a world away, as Burma digs out from a devastating cyclone that
experts say could claim 100,000 lives or more, the question -- and
answer -- are quite different.
About 80 percent of Burma's estimated 52 million people are Buddhist,
and many there rely on the principle of karma to explain the storm,
scholars say.
Specifically, many of Burma's people believe Cyclone Nargis is a
karmic consequence of military rulers' brutal crackdown on Buddhist
monks last fall, said Ingrid Jordt, an anthropology professor at the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who was once a Buddhist nun in Burma
and maintains ties there.
"The immediate explanation was: This is retribution for killing
monks," Jordt said. "In any cataclysm, human beings seek to make sense
of something that completely destroys the continuity of life. It's an
attempt to bring the world back into harmony."
The word "karma" is often misunderstood by Westerners as one's
inescapable destiny, scholars say. In Sanskrit, the word means
"action" and refers to the act that creates one's fate, not fate
itself. For Buddhists, particularly those in Southeast Asia, karma
regulates morality as firmly as Newton's law rules motion: To every
action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Karma extends to other Buddhist traditions as well. The Dalai Lama has
reportedly said that Tibet's loss of sovereignty in the 1950s can be
at least partially attributed to his country's feudal past. A
spokesman for the exiled spiritual leader could not be reached to
clarify his comments.
Hindus also believe in karma. Gandhi claimed that a 1934 earthquake
was punishment for India's harsh treatment of its perpetually lower-
class "untouchables," Indian author Arvind Sharma has written.
A distant echo of such ideas can perhaps be heard in Christian leaders
who tied the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and Hurricane Katrina to sexual
immorality in New York City and New Orleans.
American Zen Buddhist and author Brad Warner said blaming Burma's
cyclone on bad karma hews uncomfortably close to those ideas.
"To me it sounds like we're just substituting karma for God," he said.
And with so many innocent victims, karma seems a harsh and
indiscriminate explanation, Warner said.
But in Burma, weather is tied to rulers' behavior, Jordt said.
Forecasts in the country's state-run papers almost always read, "The
weather is fair throughout the land." It's a way of saying everything
is fine, karmawise, Jordt said.
But last fall the military junta imprisoned or killed dozens of
Buddhist monks who took to the streets to protest rapid inflation.
Monks are revered in Burma, and violence against them is thought to
send one to hell.
After that, Jordt said, "people knew something was going to happen."

killing people every year , earth quakes burried people alive. ( Myay
Myo or swallow by the earth) . What is the difference between
Myanmar's cyclone Nargis and United States' Katrina.? Whjat's the
difference Irrawaddy delta and New Orleans? I don't see any
difference.
But our only concern is with Myanmar and its people.
Death by natural disaster of this scale are known to us as the
punishments of God. We can look inn the Christian Holy Bible, it was
an act of God.
In Buddhism when Buddhists take fhe precepts, they also pray to be
speared from all sorts of disasters and devastation.
" They say thay take the refuge in Buddha, Darma and Sanga to be
speared from , Ape Lay Bar, Cutt Thon Bar, Yabyit Shipar, Yanthu Myo
Ngar Bar, Waipatti Taya Lay Bar, Bya thana Tayar Ngar Bar.
If you want to know the meaning of what they are, you should approach
to your nearest Buddhist Minks., Some fake and bogus Buddhist may not
be able to answer.
If you ask them what sort of people have to meet this kind of
disasters, they may opr may not be able to give you the right answer
either. .
Why do Buddhists pray to be escaped from those disasters? Why? Are
their prayers answared? Why are they afraid of these natural
disasters?.
No, according to Buddhism they will not escape from these
disasters, Because they are meant for bad guys. with bad Karma.
including fake Budhist Monks bogus monks. How many fake and bogus
Buddhist Monks are there in Myanmar . How many of them perished in
this disaster , who is counting?.

This disaster happened because Buddhist Monks in Myanmar break
their rules. They don't do what they are suppose to do, they do what
they are not supposed to do. That is clear enough. Those who follow
these bogus and fake Monks will suffer the same fate as them.
This kind of Tsuname and disaster in this scale never happened in
Myanmar before. Since Buddhisr Monks took to the streets breaking
their rules and order, these things happened . Cyclone in Myanmar,
devastation in Myanmar are because of Buddhist Monks.
Buddha prophercised that his sons namely the Buddhist Monks will
even destroy his Sasana. . What is Myanmar?.
If you want to blame some body, there they are Buddhist Monks, whether
they are real monks or fake and bogus monks, hard to tell they don't
have any identity or registration.
If you want to see a married Buddhist monk go to Myanmar. If you go
to football match you will see Buddhist monks. If you go to cinema you
will meet Buddhist monks. If you go to a disco you will meet Buddhist
monks. If you go to night clubs you will meet Buddhist monks. You may
even find Buddhist monks at Beer Gardens in Yangon. THey all belong
to Young Buddhist Monks Association or Yahan Pyo Aphwe. .
In this disaster every village in every town in Kayin State, Mon
State and Irrawaddy delta are destroyed. where Buddhist Monks are
very power and untouchable. Nobody dare question them . Th people
follow them blindly. These fake and bogus monks misled the villagers,
so the villagers died with them. There is no question about that. If
that is called bad Karma, that must be it.
In future, all Buddhist must be careful , very careful who they are
following,. who their leader is. They have to analysis themselves,
they have access themselves, and reorganise themselves. to excape from
or to be speared from another disasters.
Those who abide by the man made rules and laws will not be punished by
man . Those who abide by God's laws will not be punished by God. They
will be speared, they will be exempt from disasters.
The disaster is because of those Buddhist Monks. Nothing to do with
SPDC or Sr, Genn Than Shwe or Maung Aye, they are alright. Only
sinners are suffering , only sinners are dying.
Are you a sinner, are you a follower of a sinner Buddhist Monks?
If some one is to go to hell , that someone is the sinner.
When Jesus Christ died on the cross, how many peopel realised that he
took many so called Christians with him. He was not alone.he did not
die for others. Because of him , because they believed in him, the
Christians were killed in the Arena.
That story is in the book,. believe it or not.

Yes it does, it threatens the hell out of Atheists and makes those who
believe
in it better people and the world a better place because of it.
With out it none would care, none would worry about hurting others
stealing what ever, killing anyone to get what they want, . . .
But based on Karma, the Statutory Covenant which Equals all, the world
is a far better place.
With out the Covenant of God there would be but every one chasing the
