Remember Zagat Survey 2006?

Quote:
Japanese vs. Chinese: Among the key trends this year is the rise of
Japanese food, which clearly isn't just for Californians anymore. In
fact, sushi restaurants lead the Top Food and/or Most Popular lists in
Boston ( Oishii ), Charlotte ( Niko ), Chicago ( Mirai Sushi ), Dallas
( Tepo ), Denver ( Sushi Den ), Las Vegas ( Nobu ), Long Island (
Kotobuki ), Los Angeles ( Matsuhisa and Katsu-ya ), Miami ( Matsuri ),
New York ( Sushi Yasuda ), Portland ( Saburo's ), San Diego (Sushi
Ota), San Francisco ( Sushi Ran ), Seattle ( Nishino ) and Washington
D.C. ( Makoto ), among others. On the other hand, *fine* Chinese
dining, once the leading Asian cuisine in the U.S., seems to have
stalled, with **not even one** Chinese restaurant reaching the Top Food
Rankings. (RichAsianKid's emphasis)

Here's another example of just how Japanese Cuisine commands a premium
in Hong Kong. Look at this pic. Don't blink or you'll miss it:

http://i10.tinypic.com/33mptmw.jpg

HK $1180 = just over $150 US per person.

And for the same price you can serve a table of 10 if you stick to your
Chinese Cuisine in many Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong, let alone
mainland China.

China's on average just so goddamn cheap, bwahahaha.

I bet even the mainland Chinese nouveau riche guys would agree.

It is only premium in pricing, I have tried so many japanese food, it
simply lacks
variety compare to other east Asian cruisine.

Tokyo real estate is also premium in terms of pricing. I am sure
stupid monkey RAK will also conclude that Tokyo is more interesting
city than New York, London, Paris, Rome.

RAK measures everything in monetary terms; that's how idiotic and
boring he is. For his birthday, the Chinese can make him very happy by
sending him billions of dollars of spirit money.

What's real estate got to do with Zagat survey first of all? Answer us
please!

Besides show us a link, like do your homework. And never forget this
please, you didn't even mention Beijing or Shanghai did you in your
comparo did you, AC? Why is that? How do Beijing or Shanghai compare
with NY, London, Paris, Rome? Second class obviously! Bwahaahhaaa!
Doesn't that just so so very very reveal? EVeryone sees this! Why are
you so quiet about China all of a sudden? Thought some wanted China in
limelight? Is it because China really really sucks? Bwahahahaahaaa!!!!
How do these China cities in mainland China say Beijing, Shanghai
compare/compete with NY, London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo these first class
cities right now in terms of real estate pricing?

Well, top 10 world travel destinations in 2006 from iexplore.com shows
China is more interesting than Japan in terms of travel destinations.
Anyone can easily spend 2 weeks for sightseeing Beijing. But Tokyo?
That's for stupid monkey RAK who is only capable of measuring things by
$$ and does not appreciate culture and history (BTW, cuisine is also a
cultural thing).

Oh, I am sure idiot RAK would laugh at Vincent van Gogh because the
artist was poor.

Top Ranked Locations for 2006

2006 Rank 2005 Rank
1 EGYPT 1
2 ANTARCTICA 19

4 PERU 2
5 CHINA 4
6 TANZANIA 17

Lots of people world wide are fooled by the Japs cuisine.
Japs cuisine main ingredients are nothing but Salt, and Ajinomoto.
Even the miso soup is also full of Salt in there.

When Abianchen has no answer, he changes the subject. But at least you
could have eased the transition? You now look so retarded in these
newsgroups. It's the second time that you changed the subject. Real
estate prices are NOT the same as travel destinations.

But since you brought up travel destinations, the list that you
compiled reveal one very important point: don't you guys notice
something amazing here? All these nations (except Italy) are very very
poor. Tanzania is even poorer than China - a GDP PPP of only $800 from
CIA factbook (looked that one up). Why are poor countries good travel
destinations? Because only relatively rich people (by world standards)
are international tourists, so they want to see places which are very
different - to 'disconnect' from the face-paced 1st world lives so to
speak and to experience a different pace of life - which is why they go
to the untamed and pristine wild or the third world (esp Africa) to
chill and to slow down.

Who would want to go to New York for a vacation? Who would want to go
to Tokyo? These are wealthy first rate business centers, not vacation
towns! You'll get more stressed just going over there! So they're bad
places to go to.

Conversely who would want to live in Egypt? Who would want to live in
Thailand? Who would want to live in Antarctica!!! See my point here:
Meaning: **Who would want to live in China!** Bwahahaha!!!

The fact that China is a top ranked location for travel strongly
suggests, in this context with those other listed countries, just how
undeveloped it is. That's why it's so exotic for some, and some
people/posters (especially old people) are so romantically enarmored by
it.

1. China is a third world country.
2. The example given was to illustrate you are only capable of
measuring things by $$ but not capable of understanding culture and
history. Countries like Egypt, India, China, Italy, Greece, France,
Spain are full of history and culture but to you, it does not mean
anything. Sad!

In math terms:

lim B. Sc = B.A.
IQ ->0

If you look at students who choose their majors, the stupid ones and I
mean the low IQ ones choose art, history, music etc. They are the ones
who don't get to solve the differential equation or understand
Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle. The smart ones go into electrical
engineering and physics, math hard sciences etc. The arts students end
up unemployed or at best unhappy second rate sissy high school teachers
or tuba players in a band.

$/Science/Tech buys you the future, art and culture only gives you a
taste of the bygone past. I think even the mainland Chinese nouveau
riche will agree with that. They will likely despise you and not be as
patient as RichAsianKid writing and explaining this obvious point to
you!

Ha, I said you are uneducated and tacky, you simply dont believe it.
Even engineering major students know one can not measure things simply
by $$ and there are many other factors to see things. But stupid
monkey RAK simply does not understand it and keeps shouting expensive
means good. How stupid!
