In time yes. GM/Chrysler and corrupt auto for example. Union-socialists might have gotten to steal from my family via taxation for their greed and screw ups, but people like me with money no longer buy CAW/UAW.
Next one comes from Korea. Unlike Toyota from Ontario, it doesn't have CAW/UAW parts inside.
They lose at the till.

He/she who laughs last, laughs the best.
NDP and Liberals in Alberta are going to have to take a step back into 3rd and 4th place if they get elected. Wildrose will show them how to go from last place nobody to first or second place in one hop.
Alberta has never had a NDiaPer government, and hasn't elected Liberal since 1917. Yep, coming near 100 years of a liberal-socialist lockout.

Alberta can keep their rightwing governments - they're being isolated not only within Canada, but on the world stage as well. Their dirty oil is going to do them in when the Harper government falls. And, with luck and the will of the people, that will be in about 3 years time.

They simply forgot that "free enterprise" did not mean sticking your hands in the taxpayer's coffers and helping themselves to monies for work not being done - or as tax reductions to fat corporations. While the people were struggling.
If you want in on the next government, you'd better be ready to negotiate some good ideas with the New Democrats.

I am a newcomer to Canada and would get interested in Canadian
politics if I thought there was a party that I liked.
Is there a party that wants to ban immigration except by Europeans?
That is my main concern: to keep Canada a nation of European-derived
people, not some polyglot mess like the United States.

Anyone doing so would be called racist, so I think that 'race' should be part
of the party's name! Also we must deport non-christian cultures, and people
who cannot claim European ancestry. Government at all levels needs a
shakeup too. As 'leader' of this new movement, what are your plans?

Ontario from 1990 to 1995.
How incompetent was the Bob Rae government?
Well aside from all the ministerial resignations, when Mike Harris passed his first budget after winning the 1995 election, it was one of the longest bills in Ontario history, because Bob Rae's NDP majority government had neglected to pass their last *two* budgets into law.

Not nearly as "incompetent" (or radical rightwing agenda-driven) as the governments of Mike Harris or Ernie Eves.
Those guys could make deficits better than any Premiers that Ontario had ever seen before. . . . between cancelling programs for the people of the province.

"Bad for business" is usually the euphemism for "good for the average taxpayer". Time for the corporations to get their welfare checks and bailouts from some other entity than the taxpayers.

Which one are you rooting for, doctor? Seems you're more interested in which one of the two rightwing political parties win than whether your own party (it IS the Liberal Party, isn't it?) can win some seats in the redneck province.
