"Major Hasan walked into a processing center at Fort Hood where
hundreds of US soldiers were being processed for posting to
Afghanistan.
At first, he sat quietly at an empty table, bowed his head for several
seconds, as if praying, stood up and drew a high-powered pistol.
“Allahu akbar,” he said, and opened fire. Within minutes he gunned
down 13 people." reported New York Times.

Allah would send him to hell, to be burned in eternal fire if he
killed fellow Muslim believers in Afghanistan or Iraq. After much
agonizing, Major Hasan chose the only option opened to a Muslim in the
US armed forces, knowing fully he would have to die for the killings
of US service men.

He heard from returning soldiers(those he treated) about the killings
and the bad things done to civilians in Iraq. His blood boiled.
According to New York Times, he tried to leave the army but were
denied.
He sought the advice from his spiritual mentor, Iman Anwar Al-Awlaki,
the mentor of the 9-11 terrorists. Anwar helped him to find the answer
to his dilemma, to find peace of mind, ie to serve Allah.

He made his plan carefully, buying the guns one year in advance,
choosing his target very carefully, and saying good byes to his
friends.

"Mr. Hasan began shooting around 1:20 p.m., investigators say.

"As he methodically moved around the room, he spared some people while
firing on others several times. He seemed to discriminate among his
targets.. All but one of the dead were soldiers." reported New York
Times.

Among the thousands of Muslims in the US armed forces, they face the
same dilemma, to serve Allah or to serve the USA ? How many will
follow in the footstep of Malik Hasan ?

Neither! They should get out of the military in protest resignation
instead, as Colonel Matthew Hoh himself did. This is, as Hoh put it,
to let him tell the American people that this war is wrong: morally
wrong and a total waste of money and the country's resources, its
human resources especially.

This is so that the American people from Iowa, Arkansas, Missouri,
Mississippi, Nebraska, . . . have something vivid to call their
Congressmen and Congresswomen about and say they should stop funding
the wars in the Middle East and Central Asia now and tell Obama to
bring all Americans home in order to rebuild our country, which has
been spent by nearly eight years of war that George W Bush started
with big lies.

And remember, every life is precious to their loved ones.

And you can do something about it too: check this out and do something
about your future and your children's.
