Obama spent over 1,000 millions dollars (one trillion dollars) on
economic stimulus package soon after he took office in Jan. Now, after
6 months, Americans are still losing their jobs fast...at the rate of
half a million a month. Together with school leavers (new job
seekers)... there are more than 600,000 new claims for unemployment
insurance.
Over 6 millions Unemployed Americans have been desperately looking for
jobs ...most for more than six months. Americans with jobs now are
fearful that they would soon be jobless. They will lose their health
insurance and their homes.
They pray desperately, ...Obama would be their saviour. But.....he
let them down very badly.
Obama failed to create jobs...failed to stop foreclosures...failed to
stop business bankruptcy...He doesn't know what to do. ..to stop the
US economy from sinking deeper and deeper into recession. The USA is
in fact in a great depression !!!

Like what the Singapore government did, Obama gave
money to failing companies (called bail out)... but it did nothing
to create more jobs...the for jobless Americans.
As for retraining...only stupid Singaporeans believe in....
retraining will create jobs for Singaporeans. Retraining
will NOT create jobs at all.
Singaporeans are retrained for skills that are useless...not
needed by employers who have no openings for such skills ...
Thousands of unemployed Singaporean are with such skills...
but they lost their jobs due to retrenchment.
Eg. workers are retrained to be bakers...but many, many
experienced bakers are now jobless.

in their 50s and 60s, obese women (over 300 lbs), ...into the US armed

There is no compulsory military conscription in America, so eventually
the least qualified people come to be enlisted in the military. It's
o.k., if you are in Hollywood making films like The Dirty Dozen, but
in real life these bottom-of-the-barrel types tend to give America a
bad name by their behavior in foreign countries. They commit
atrocities and create low morale within their own ranks. America has a
big problem playing the role of World Policeman and yet sending low
quality troops to trouble spots. When these troops eventually do get
sent home, there will be no jobs waiting for them there, and they are
forced into a life of crime using the skills they have learned in the
military.

digits before the economy start to turn around, when he first too over
office. Obama is a human being, not a super magician, and remember he

Immediately, upon taking office, Obama say he will
create 1 million jobs, ..then a few week later, 2 millions
jobs...then later 3 millions jobs.
When the harsh truth dawned on him, he repeated
what economic experts say...jobless rate would hit
double digits....
Now, 600,000 or more Americans become jobless (those
who lost jobs and new school leavers) every month.
Officially, 9.5 % American are jobless...but the truth
is...many more millions are not included in the count..
Those in part time jobs, self employed (eg shoes shinning )
and those working for charity organisation.... If these
are included, it is over 14%.
Obama's recovery package has been passed for many
months... with the main purpose of creating jobs.

Yes. Obama is human...BUT he projected himself as more
than human...he promised Americans millions more jobs,
changes for the better, ...better health care, better government,
better economy....

As comparison, let's check how China spent the money
to help the recovery of its economy.

China...create jobs for workers who construct the rails,
build the locomotive, ... create business for material
suppliers who will employ more workers...
-- billions on the construction of oil and gas pipe lines
network and electricity powergrid... linking major population
centers... This create hundreds of thousands of jobs directly
and indirectly.
-- billions as seed money to start joint ventures with
investors to start factories in rural China to produce good
for local consumption (NOT for export). This created
jobs for those who were retrenched by Toy factories
and factories for export.
-- Billions as loans to small business in rural China ..to
help them expand their business...and start new business.
This create jobs for villagers....they need NOT migrate to
cities in search for work.
-- Giving easy loans to help citizens to buy houses and
cars...which created markets for houses. This in turn
created job for the citizen to earn money ... to pay the
instalments for their purchases.
In less than 6 months...China has managed to reverse the
economic recession.. China's economy is now 7%...and
growing.
Like Obama, the Chinese leaders are also human....but they
spent their money wisely.
