Subject: Ööpartei
I was reading up on the split of the Communist Party of Estonia in
1990, and I ran into the term "Ööpartei", referring to the CPSU
platform faction that opposed independence and remained loyal to
Moscow. How would "Ööpartei" be best translated into English? And why
was it called that?

Cheers,
Martin

independemce, those who not organised after miiting their own night
meeting to create their own CPE . Just from memory so may be wrong.
