The second day already sitting at home because got a flue or cold (how
people distinguish one from another? Just paralyzing weakness and
headache). My best friend today is Mr. Aspirin. What is humiliating - I
feel so dumb.
Like my brain went on strike.
Thanks University - they called "where are you?" and instead of watching
like a zombie the stupid TV I somehow was encouraged to think. Not much
but still better. I hate TV - it always deliver lies or crap.

People - eat vitamin C.

It is not funny to make fun of a sick person: as I said my brain is AWOL
and I know I saw it before "vitamin P" but just cannot place it.

Can't wait when you get sick - I will come after you with a vengeance.

Until then - me and my friend Mr. Aspirin.

Sorry to hear this. Mr.Aspirin is not the best friend you can have,
it has a negative effect. Old natural remedies are better. Can you
get "pihtovoye maslo" in NY? Put it in boiling hot water and inhale.
There are many other natural things you can do to help your body
fighting flue/cold.

Nothing humiliating about this. It is a natural process - when you
have flu/cold your brain is affected too, not just the rest of your
body.

I tend to go to work when I have cold/flu. I can't allow my lessons
to be canceled. Last and the only time when I was off sick was 6th
May 2001, head of department told me to go home and students agreed
with this decission -))

Yes, there is a lot of crap that is delivered through TV screens.

I do, lots of it every day. Freshly squeezed fruit juice and
vegetables provide with plenty of it.

Thank you and it is OK Dima. Last week I *think* I solved rather tricky
problem, and still do not know if the solution is for real. So few days
to settle down and sleep on it may help. Too good to be true.

My middle name is probably "Arrogant", - and when I face the fact thtat
I am so stupid as to - what to do first? put Stevea in my coffee or pour
cream? I do feel humiliated vs myself. It is apart from the cat who
looks with a sneer - "Aha, the Genius at work".

I can't - it is banned - there are hospitals in NYU MC - you cannot come
if you suspect you have a contagious illness.
Besides I have to drive and I don't think I fit to do it - I am very slow.

I can't allow my lessons

Thanks. I think before Christmas I will know if the problem I tried is
solved correctly - IF it so then we'll have a Champagne.
Otherwise - we stumble a lot. I sometimes feel envy - you play guitar
and now immediately if there was a false note. I don't.

Try this: http://www.msgtruth.org/avoid.htm - prevention is a good medicine
too.

I hope you get over it as quickly as possible. In future, to protect
yourself try Echinacea. It is a natural remedy and doesn't have any
side effects. It protects you from getting cold/flue. It does help
meny people to stay out of it. The flower comes from North America,
so I assume that you can get the extract in NY from chemist. I buy
them as tablets in ordinary supermarket here.

You are evil you are trying to scare a shit out me: and you would if I
didn't know that prepared food always contains poison. Indeed a while
ago this topic was lightly touched here when I complained that when
reading "ingredients" on a food package one stumbles over such items as
"yellow # 40" what to me sounds like "Orange B" or "Cyclone".

Manual of survival in cities says: "shop the perimeter" in supermarket
meaning shop unprepared food, and don't be a lazy ass - spend some time
preparing food instead of in near future spending the same time in
hospitals and buying medicine.

Merry Christmas!

List of ingredients on every food label across the Valley of Tears should
read like that:

This Too, And This, Also That, More of Those, That One, Those Especially, A
Lot of That, etc.

No one would worry then about hospital bills...

Danger of reading Russian press - reading interview with Russia's main
Doctor in Chief: EU banned import of the US chicken, and Rooskies think
about doing the same because hormones and antibiotics. Thanks. I now
look at them in supermarket and think that they should to move them to
isle of medicines. (I don't mostly eat any meat, what makes it even
worse - almost catholic feeling of guilt giving a poison).

Concerning hospital bills - the Healthcare Reform, grossly disfigured
still made it through the Senate vote. - That's for Vello who was
doubting that the Chicago boy would accomplish anything.
