Africa’s vast mineral wealth may be the key to ending the poverty
cycle there.

In order to exploit these resources, Africa needs a better
transportation infrastructure.

London-based businessman Saifee Durbar is taking a major step.

By building a railway from Cameroon on Africa’s west coast to the
Sudan on the east coast, he will continue the vision of the Suez
Canal. Both of these nations will benefit, as will the landlocked
Central African Republic, through which the railway will pass.
