It would indeed be a stretch to imagine chimps are as smart as humans.
Most people no matter how idealistic and deluded do not have problems
appreciating that fact. And for the same reason, it would indeed be a
stretch to imagine all human groups (not just races, but ethnic and
religious groups as well), based on phylogeny, based on different
ancestral conditions and selection pressures, to have evolved identical
intelligence - intelligence being one (out of many) traits selected for
in hominid history.
The question you need to ask is NOT why are people unequal, but rather
why they are.
PS - all replies are voluntary. RAK does so out of courtesy. And
besides, it's not RAK whom you're 'fighting' - it's reality. Just look
around the world today, or go to any history museum on evolutionary
history. Are the brains of Neanderthals or H. Habilis the same as Homo
Sapiens Sapiens say? It's sometimes tough and it's easy to get angry
when you've lived your whole life as another lie, viewing it through a
distorting filtered lens. But once you appreciate the perspective of
depth - the 3-D vertical dimension of ancestry if you will - analogous
to the 3-D aspect of renaissance paintings vs the 2-D medieval ones or
Baroque polyphonic harmony vs Middle Age monophony in music, you'll
never go back.
