Draft-dodging Muhammad Ali was an asshole from the get-go. Frazier
and George Foreman had more class than Ali could ever
hope to.

And of course you served with honor?

a-yes
b- but more of a comment. Mr. Ali did not in reality not serve because of
conciencious objection, but I his own words:" I have nothing against the
Vietnamese..."That is not a conciencious objector.
c- Mr. Ali was a great fighter. But the previous poster is right, Frazier
was not the trashtalker Ali was, and was a good fighter who Ali called an
ape. With all due respect to the great fighter Ali was, he had no class as
a sportsperson.
d- Ali in his after boxing career has shown alot more class than he ever did
as a fighter, his generosity and humility are admirable.

pickaninny puncher Larry Holmes.

Couldn't agree more Doc...with a mini nitpick.
Didn't Ali actually say "I have nothing against those Viet Congs"? I ask
not to detract from your post with which I totally agree, but just for
historical accuracy.

Actually, he originally FAILED the army's test!!
And yet the army tried to insist that he serve.

And his open and constant denunciation of Islamonazis
is noteworthy as well.
