In my opinion the world should not be divided to continents or races
but to cultural domains.

White color symbolizes good because it is light like the atmosphere of
hope. Similarly Europeans symbolize despair and destruction by
darkness and the black color. It is difficult to overcome these
instinctual associations to colors, so one would hope that no-one
would need to symbolize one's own culture by the black color since it
can bring a tendency to things that bring despair. It would be better
to call the blacks Africans and let the Arabs be just Arabs even if
they geographically live north of Sahara. Which brings to my mind the
association to sun: all of Africa being very tropical could it be
called the Sun Land or whatever that kind, so as to get light positive
associations - even to the skin color because it is obviously an
adaptation to the sun.

Sorry to mess around with this subject but the sun association sounded
so typically African, kind of clishee, and at the same time so nice!
