Contemporay Persian Folk Music

Aldoush and The Human Exchange perform their new album, The Child
Within. Aldoush weaves modern Persian poetry into a fabric of ancient
Iranian folk melodies and rhythms. Their new album, The Child within
combines jazz, classical, early renaissance and Middloe Eastern
village music. The music and words are of spiritual nature.

The Human Exchange perform on electric fretless bass, saxophone,
clarinet, jazz percussion, and traditional Persian percussion.
Aldoush plays accustic guitar and two custom built instruments
modeled after the persian tanboor.
