daring...)

I'm impressed; I didn't go veg until I was practically 21... But sugar and
chocolate are vegetarian, so go for it!

Here's one for you: *hug*.

So, where does the nickname "Iceman" come from?

Yeah, Dali is incredible. And my little brother ripped up my print of
_Metamorphosis of Narcissus_! Grrrr... So all I have left are prints of
Persistence (of course) and _Musical Tempest_, a less powerful work from
his less inspired postwar period.

Yeah, I've seen the Far Side bit. *giggle*

I've got prints of Metamorphosis, Persistence, Musical Tempest (which is
a bit beat up, and covered with paint smears), Apparition of Face and
Fruit Dish on Beach, and the Disintegration of the persistence of memory
(or something like that, can't remember the title offhand). I want to
get a print of Galatea of the Spheres (one of my faves :)

I actually like Musical Tempest... I painted it a couple of years back
(well, I still want to do a little more work on it, but it's sitting in
my parents' house). I'll show it to you sometime. :)

Yes, the 500 seems the best... too many silly questions above
that... I lost one point on the 1500 for owning a "really big spoon" if
you can believe it... the 100 is good for a quickie, but if you want to

My kinda strange is _very_ strange... I kinda mixed and matched
religions and personal philosophy into the belief that I have now... I've
heard it's close to some eastern philosophy, paganism, and having a mental
illness... ;) It's kinda hard to explain, and I don't think everyone on
here would be interested in it, so I won't post it... I guess I need to

: So, where does the nickname "Iceman" come from?

It goes back to the roots of a local newsgroup...

git.talk.social... after we all started posting we thought we should meet
each other in real life, so we planned a party at the showing of "Akira"
by the Campus Movie Comittee... I brought a big tupperware container full
of ice for the drinks. During the movie the ice melted... so when I came
out I had a big tupperware container full of ice water... someone
suggested I drink it, and someone else noted, "No-one could drink that
much water!" I raised the container to my lips and proved them wrong...
Three minutes later I finished off all four-litres of water... ;)

I *could* have that name for another reason... but no-one here

knows my ex-girlfriend... >;)

Borscht? Why would anyone want prints of beet soup? I mean, it tends
to be a really nice purplish color and all, with interesting chunks
of veggies in it...

Oh, wait, that's Bosch. Er, well, *nevermind*. :-)

Re: <Some other post in this thread, reference to piercings>

I am debating a bellybutton piercing. I mean, I am not sure if I'm up
for 6 months of cleaning it, but on the other hand it would be a
*great* excuse for showing people my belly more often, and maybe even
getting my belly rubbed in the bargain. ;-)

I went to The Bank recently here in NYC (anyone want to go with me? I
am planning on making dancing a regular part of my life again) and I
was sad that it was winter... there were people with interesting
facial piercings but I kept wanting to ask them if any other parts of
their body were pierced. BTW, anyone know if alot of B/G/L hang out at the
Bank? (ObBiComment?)

BTW, is posting a bio a prereq or just an excuse to formally demuffin
someone?

Oooh, purty... I'm too chicken to get my navel pierced - Most people I
know who've had it done ended up getting it massively infected... I've
finally psyched myself up to get my nipple pierced, tho. Now I just
have to get a ring, and find a place to have it done.

Heehee... For some reason, conversations always turn to body piercings
('specially when some of the people present have noticeable
piercings)... The other day a friend of mine was telling me all about
how he'd pierced himself the week before (I declined to look at them :)
