we're finding numerous bugs with profile page

we're finding a bunch of bugs on the profile page
1. users can't enter data for homepage, image, bio, comment sig.
through profile page ..it will save, but then not showing up after
save. Can only be entered in by administrator in user edit after
clearing all fields.
2. didn't accept www in web address after http
3. adds http:// sanctuary before web address if typed in wrong...can't
be cleared from profile page..only administrator
4. In IE nav tabs on profile page hang up when first loading leaving
current tab hanging at top of page

one more we just found:
5. when trying to put a link in the comment sig you get a message that
your html is wrong, claims you have a tag /aa> that needs to be
changed...
