Hi all,

I'd like to use SnipURL with path forwarding. For instance, let's
imagine the url http://www.php.net/manual/en was snipped under
http://snipurl.com/abc url.

When calling http://snipurl.com/abc/function.time.php?arg=1, I'd like
to to be redirected to: http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.time.php?arg=1

Actually this doesn't seem to be the case. Are there any argument or
any settings to get such behaviour ?

Tx

This already works.

I snipped the URL http://www.php.net/manual/en into my own snip, and
called it "_pm". So we have:

http://snipr.com/_pm

Now I would like to check a function called "stristr",
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.stristr.php -- I can reference
this as

http://snipr.com/_pm/function.stristr.php

Happy snipping,

Awesome ! However this is unfortunately not exactly true...

Actually, path is correctly forwarded, but arguments are not... I
tested with a GET request with no success

In addition, the POST data are not sent either...

Did I do something wrong ?

Hi Mae

Let me check up on the arguments (params).

About post, not sure what you are trying to do. You mean in the API?

No, not the API, but if I use an URL with POST method and body which
is application/x-www-form-urlencoded, I would expect to retrieve also
that body onto the targetted URL

Is it more clear ?

Can you try now and let me know if path forwarding is now working as
you expect it?

As for POSTing a URL, not sure that is what Snipurl is meant to do. It
takes a URL and translates it into the destination. Perhaps you could
write to me directly (not to this group) at edi...@snipurl.com and
share the code with me so I can debug.

Happy snipping,
