Snarl on WINE?

I'm just curious, has anyone tried Snarl on wine? Not sure there is a
good reason to other than curiosity, Linux has several notification
schemes.

As far es I know until now no - but would be interesting to see. All my
Linux I have here do not have a user interface so ;)

I'd rather see something that interfaces with libnotify, et al on WINE.

Is there a link to the API for libnotify?

How best to tackle the "Snarl on Linux" issue?
