I managed to create a big problem: While trying to update the Ipod
software
via ITunes, my computer crashed. Now the IPod lost in the "Restore
Mode,"
with the the message that I will lose "all media" if it is restored.
Does
anyone know of a solution that will not involve my losing my 1400
songs on
the IPod. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please reply via
email to
users...@aol.com Thanks!
Bob

Please don't ask for (or expect) 'personal service'. If people
on the list can help, they will help here.

Are you just storing all your tracks on the iPod and not on a
computer??? Anyways... to make a copy of the mp3s on the iPod
download Senuti: http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/ you will be able to
pull all your files off the iPod and then your can restore the iPod.

If you have your files on the computer it doesn't matter, you can just
restore the iPod and then when you sync the iPod the tracks will copy
across from your computer.

Does that make sense?
