Another change perchance?
When closing a window, you can hit enter as 'Save' is in Blue. It used to be that 'Don't Save' or 'Cancel' was encircled in blue, and a tap of the space bar would select that!

Now, nothing is encircled and you have to Tab through to be able to select cancel.

Once more, am I missing something or is this an ML change?

Seems a shame that more steps are being added to do the common tasks?

Any help please?

Thanks

Adam

Adam,

cmd-D will select the Don't Save and cmd-C will select Cancel.

Command-Backspace on ML is the same as Command-D used to mean. Escape is always equivalent to Cancel.

Happy to be of use.

I'm not sure I understood your Calendar bug.

If I type into the notes area of a calendar event I either click outside the detail window or click Done and the notes changes are saved. If I press Escape then the changes are not made. Are you having problems when creating a new calendar entry, editing an existing one or both?

I try to only use keyboard commands where poss!

so, in Calendar, select an event already created...

Cmd E to edit
Enter some Notes

In SnowL you just hit Cmd D to select Done, the modal window would close and changes saved.
In Lion that changed and Duplicated the event... so hitting Escape would close the window and save the changes.
In ML, Escape closes the window with no saves (as you'd expect really) but I can't see how to select Done without touching the trackpad again?!? I want to close the window and keep the changes (and there's no Cmd W option)

Any thoughts?!

Ah yes ... well, no I don't know how to save without the trackpad. Good point. Sorry I can't help there.
