Does anyone have a solution?

It works on ny iPhone 4s. I have a 1st generation iPad . Even the tutorial on smoothie chart.org doesn't show curves, only empty canvas.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

Has smoothie-charts ever worked on an iPad in your experience? I'm new to the project and don't know the browser/device support.

Are you able to obtain any debug output from the iPad to see why it may be failing?

Drew.

I just tested smoothie-charts using Chrome on my wife's iPad 3 and indeed, it fails to render. Other sites using HTML5 canvas work ok, so hopefully it's something simple to fix.

It looks like you need a Mac to remote debug Chrome/Safari on iOS and I don't have one. Can someone on the list take a shot at this? The process seems relatively straightforward.

You can also do basic debugging on the ipad using Firebug Lite.  You set it up on the ipad via javascript bookmarklet, and then activate when on the page you want to debug. Gives a basic javascript console, etc.

However, I tried just now, and sample charts on smoothecharts.org worked for me on iPad 3 (iOS 6.1.3) with Safari and Google Chrome.
