This may be seem like a idiotic simple post, but here goes anyway.
I had given to me a "Carlton Farms:" (Oregon) smoked ham(partially
cooked) and basted it with a chicken stock, pineapple juice, ground
clove, dry mustard mixture every 45 minutes then last 30 minutes or
so, glazed with a Honey, Pineapple, brown sugar, dry mustard glaze. It
turned out fantastic!!!

I know Ham and Beans are one of the simplest things to do. But does
anyone have a innovative Ham and Bean recipes that I can try on the
third or forth day?

Here's my thought: Pinto Beans and Butter Beans with the Ham and
sauteed onions, carrots, bay Leaf, little parsley, salt and pepper.

Any other ideas?

had leftover ham with beans for dinner last nite. if your talking fresh beans this won't be much help cause I used Bush's canned beans. chopped onion, red & green bell peppers cooked in bacon grease added fresh garlic and one small chili pepper, one 20 oz. can of beans drained and juice discarded, one cup barbecue sauce, 1/4 cup  maple syrup, 2 cups chopped ham, baked in 300 degree oven for about 1 1/2 hours. topped with grated cheddar cheese and back in over till cheese melted. served with garlic toast and a green salad. mighty fine dinner!

Nothing innovative about this, but it was tasty:

I had some left over ham and I think some of the ham and the bone are great with beans. I took the ham, bone and some chicken stock and let it simmer for about 4 hours then I added some black and pinto beans and cooked for another hour or so then I added some sautéed onions, Cajun seasoning, garlic, etc and pepper and cooked it till done. My only complaint with the first bowl was it was too salty, so I added some water to cut the salt. Probally should have made some corn bread and sliced some onions to go with it, but....................

Boy, that sounds good!

God Loves you; and I'm trying!

That sounds good. Perhaps a bit of celery too. The last time I made Ham and
Beans, I used cannellini beans, and must say it was the best pot of beans
I'd ever made. The beans had everything to do with it!

John,
I made bean soup from the Thanksgiving ham. I used a package of 15 bean mix, onion, celery, carrot and (don't tell anyone) the packet of seasoning that came with the beans! It was wonderful.

This must be a Southern thing, along with eating all those "greens." Never been much for beans, unless they're baked with lots of molasses and a smoked ham hock, or in chili (Texans, please don't shoot me) Not much on cooked greens either.

no beans but another use for some of that left over ham----serves 2
green onion, bell peppers, 1 baked potato, 1 cup chopped ham, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 4 eggs, cheddar cheese, hot sauce
Will--I agree with what Gerry said.
