Drat!  Too many people on this list have proved their mortality over the years.

Joe was a good man, good husband, good father and a very good cook. Yes, he will be missed by many. Prayers for his family.

My best wishes to his family.  He hadn't posted much lately, but I do remember him.

RIP, Joe Wells

When I think of Joe Wells, I think of his mustard. Here's a post to this list from 2006.

Here it is Tom, if you want a kicked up mustard, use oriental mustard.
joe

Mustard Recipe
4 oz dry mustard (Coleman's makes a tin that comes in either 2 or 4oz)
1 cup White vinegar

Mix these two well and let sit overnight.

Whip in -
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt

put in double boiler and cook until thick - youwill need to stir constantly and not heat it too fast or it gets lumpy.  If you under cook it it will be very runny.
