I was in a local sporting goods store today looking at an M&P9c that I'm
considering. I was swearing my BBQ Stu's Grilling Team hat (thanks Stu) so
the clerk started talking barbecue. There are not a lot of folks up here
familiar with barbecue outside of Famous Dave's or Lloyd's packaged ribs.
You could tell he was looking for a kindred spirit. So we talked BBQ and
forgot about the M&P. He's more familiar with the MIM format but is now
looking forward to the KCBS contest here in August. I also told him were
he could find a variety of wood chunks here locally. I may have to go
looking for him again. Everybody else I talk bbq with here was taught by
me. I'm not hearing much that's new and I already know how little I know.
