Hopefully this can serve as a forum for shared materials, ideas,
methods, notes, etc. Check it out and contribute!

Here's another site for reproducibles to accompany session
activities. There is a $20/year membership fee but you can check out
the site first to see what they offer. My supervising SLPs are
members and use the worksheets all the time.

www.enchantedlearning.com

And a free site where people have created and posted materials (mostly
from boardmaker):

www.speakingofspeech.com Click on "materials exchange".

Hi everyone,
I also came across another site with free
materials. There's a lot of artic cards and lists on here.
It's http://www.speech-language-therapy.com/txresources.html
I hope it's helpful. Aimee, thanks for the other websites. I've used
the speaking of speech one before. It's useful. Hope you're all doing
well,

Janet

During our presentations, some people talked about articulation
therapy and shaping/placement of /r/. I have attached a document I
found written by Judith Kuster. It's under the files 'Shaping +
Placement'

Here's a web site where you can set up an account for free and create
rubrics.
Rubrics are useful for older students to conduct self or peer
evaluations in a manner which is depersonalized and less likely to
stir up defensive reactions to feedback.

Here is a website for school psychologists, with lots of helpful
handouts on dealing with behavioral issues, autism, etc.

HI All

For those of you working with older students and working on language based activities, I have located two books that are great resources.

1. Study SKills by Diane Vener- Landmark School Outreach Program
   P.O. Box 227 Prodes Crossing , MA 01965    978-236-3216  www.landmarkschool.org

2. Language Remediation and Expansion
150 Skill- Building Reference Lists by Catherine S. Bush  ISBN 0-88450-402-6

Hope they help.

Here is a great website to use to create hands-on language based
activities:
http://www.archkidecture.org/

If you go to the link on the left hand side of the page: Archkidecture
Teach It! you will find a list of curricula. The first link takes
you to a site that offers a 400+ page book of lesson plans and hands
on activities for elementary school kids. I am modifying the 5th
grade stuff for my HS kids though.

Hope everyone is doing well!
