Refreshing updated pages
I wouldn't call this a bug necessarily. I think it's just a reality we all have to learn to live with. Something users should be aware of. Most of you are probably developers and already know this, but it's worth mentioning for newer developers: If you are modifying a page, and testing the modifications, normally... more »

Trouble with "Authentication Required" pages.
When attempting to access a page contained in a restricted access folder, requiring login, an "Authentication Required" window opens, but the form most often does not load so users can log in. It has loaded once, but not with several other attempts. It doesn't seem to matter which speed is chosen.... more »

Whither Snow Leopard?
Is Sloppy busted on Snow Leopard? I'm getting the following error: CouldNotLoadArgumentException[ Could not load file/URL specified: file://localhost/Users/lfranci s/Library/Caches/Java/cache/ja vaws/http/D[link]] at com.sun.javaws.Main.launchApp( Main.java:327)... more »

RTMP
An amazingly useful application, I must say. Ever so much more convenient than having to use iprelay to set up a squashed tunnel. ^.^ The problem is, as I believe you mentioned elsewhere, that if a flash player initiates a connection after the page is loaded, then it will not go through sloppy. Normally it is not a big deal, but now that I... more »

Not working - Mac 10.5, java 1.5.0_16, Firefox 3.0.5
Maybe I'm dumb, broken, or both, but this doesn't seem to work for me. My browser was already running, and this just opened a new tab. I went to YouTube with a 9.6K connection, speed was clearly regular rate. Hmm. Success from others?

Sloppy non-GUI version
There is a non-gui version mentioned here: [link] I'd like to run sloppy via a ant action from within Flex Builder (aka Eclipse). So this non-gui version would do great (i hope), but I'm not quite sure how to set it up. I've checked out from SVN hoping to find... more »

latency
Simulating slow network connections (i.e. bandwidth) is great - but what about latency? Would be great if I could specify a delay (connect time) for each request to simulate latency in addition to the data transmission rate. This would be especially useful for web 2.0 apps, where clients may have a fast connection, but are located half way around the globe.... more »

problem: always points to Google
Hi, Sloppy seemed to work fine when trying a couple of sites within a few minutes of first run. However, after once testing google.com on 56k, sloppy now always sends me to google.com no matter what I enter in the site address field. I've tried removing sloppy from the java cache (using `javaws -... more »
