If I remember correctly, Linus wrote version 0.0.1 of Linux for a kernel
class he was taking from the professor who wrote Minix. He recieved a
'C'. (The professor was religiously against the macro-kernel Linux
was based on) This might just be a net story... I've been trying to find any
documentation on the history of Linux, but I haven't been able to find it.
I'm sure if I am wrong, someone will kindly correct me. ;-]
