As her online family, we will be holding a memorial service to honor
her memory on

Sunday, September 25, 2005, in #Townhall,
9:00 p.m. Eastern, 8:00 p.m. Central.

As needed, the channel will be moderated to allow each person who
wishes to say something to do so. After one person is done, the next
person will be allotted as much time as they need to say what is in
their heart, much like mourners taking turns coming up to a podium in a
chapel.

 It would probably be wise to have a box of tissues or two nearby.  A
raft may even be a good idea for the river of tears shed over the loss
of our friend.

For those who will not able to attend but wish to make their sentiments
known, please email them to us at newslet...@starlink-irc.org.  Please
put TREECAT MEMORIAL SERVICE in the subject line.  We will paste your
comments during the memorial service.

We will be logging the service and will print and bind all that is
said.  The booklet will be sent to treecat's grandchildren so that they
will know how deeply loved and appreciated their grandmother is and can
perhaps glimpse some of the life she had here with us.

Please remember that folks will be present who use Web TV and Java
connections and they cannot see colors, and that lots of color displays
make logs very difficult to read.  If the artists among us would like
to make some kind of tribute to treecat, we will be very happy to
schedule a time for color shows or music productions.  That would be so
lovely and fitting.
