Hi all,

Is there a way to skip to a particular slide of a presentation using
Javascript?

Not sure, SlideShare Player exposes Flash or JavaScript API. It would be wonderful, if they can do something like YouTube (latest announcement).

OK. So there isn't any way to jump into an slideshow at a particular
slide? Is there a way to access each slide at its own (as an image or
something)?

Are the guys at Slideshare working on some kind of Player API?

Well, you can look at the slideshare-xml and load the desired slide (swf). You have to do some reverse-engineering though.

Slideshare does not support a player API right now. So it is not
possible to flip slides using javascript or flash. However, slideshare
does support loading the player with the desired slide number. Ex.:

The flash player API is certainly what we are looking forward to and
would be available in the time to come.

Slideshare does not support a player API right now, so it is not
possible to flip slides using external JS or Flash. But we are looking
forward to having this feature and it should be out in the time to
come.
