Hi Raghuram,

I am sorry, but I cant provide a definite timeframe for player API support as of now. We have included it in our pipeline. I hope that we would be able to publish an update on it within next 1-2 months.

Thanks,

Hi Donald,

Thanks for taking this up again. This feature is one of the features that we are targeting to release in this quarter. We are currently working on this and by end of next month we would be able to make a public release of it. We'll make an announcement on our engineering blog (engineering.slideshare.net) and the developer forum when it is available for use.

Hey there,

Is there possibly a beta/alpha of the new HTML5 player API. I'm just starting to work with your API and don't want to do this twice - once for the dying-Flash and then again for HTML5. :)

Thanks!
bob

The new player api uses the postMessage API. You can have a quick look at a demo page at http://static.slideshare.net.s3.amazonaws.com/postMessageAPIDemo.html . This is still a work in progress.
