I am sorry, but I cant provide a definite timeframe for player API support
as of now. We have included it in our pipeline. I hope that we would be
able to publish an update on it within next 1-2 months.

we are targeting to release in this quarter. We are currently working on
this and by end of next month we would be able to make a public release of
it. We'll make an announcement on our engineering blog (
engineering.slideshare.net) and the developer forum when it is available
for use.

Is there possibly a beta/alpha of the new HTML5 player API. I'm just starting to work with your API and don't want to do this twice - once for the dying-Flash and then again for HTML5. :)
