Getting the slideshow_id from teh URL

Hi everybody,


I'm trying to retrieve the Embed Code for a Slideshow. Since it asks
for the slideshow_id, and this id is not visible in th URL or in the
interface, I cannot make it work.

Is there any way to get the slideshow_id parameter from the URL -or
wherever- as sites like unvlog.com is doing for a lot of video sites?

Yes, you can use the API to provide it with a url:

http://www.slideshare.net/developers/documentation section "Retrieving
Slideshow information using the slideshare API"

f.e.:
http://www.slideshare.net/api/1/get_slideshow_info?slideshow_url=http://www.slideshare.net/cheilmann/creating-happy-little-websites&api_key={KEY}&ts={TIMESTAMP}&hash={HASH}
