Pack 347 Pack Meeting -- April 15

Pack,
 
April 15th was our last Pack meeting of the year.  Upcoming events are the following:
 
April 20th -- District Pinewood Derby
May 3rd    -- Last day to purchase camp cards
May 6th    -- Crossover Picnic, 5:30pm, JSP (more to follow)
May 11th  -- Northshore Scout Expo, 10-2, Slidell Camp Salmen
June 15th  -- Pack picnic/fun day at Fountainebleu (further info as we get closer)
Jun 17-21  -- Day Camp (Apps to me by APRIL 30th; see earlier msg)
Jun 23-26  -- WEBELOS Adventure Camp (current Bears/Webelos only)
Jul 20th     -- Pack climbing at Slidell Rocks (further info as we get closer)
Aug 3-4     -- Pack overnight at USS ALABAMA ($18/person, men only; further info to follow)
 
The crossing over on May 6th is a pot-luck event generally enjoyed by the Scouts; we hope to see everyone there.  Here's what everyone should bring:
 
Tigers:  chips
Wolves:  fruits and veggies
Bears:  desserts
Webelos:  picnic-friendly sides
Everyone:  A 2-liter bottle of your favorite drink
 
The pack will provide hamburgers and hotdogs, ice and water, and paper products.  You may want to bring a chair or blanket, too, in order to sit more comfortably. 
 
Please let me know if you have any questions about upcoming Pack events.  As always, check the district Web site for additional Scout activities--like campouts at Zephyr field--for your dens to participate in over the summer.  I'll be posting more information about Pack summertime events in the upcoming weeks.  Please get your DAY CAMP APPLICATIONS to me by APRIL 30th.
