They say if you don't like the weather in Louisiana, wait15 minutes... it'll change; well, we waited and it changed 3 times, but still not to a favorable condition. The Thunderstorms are rolling in, so as much as we want Expo to happen today, the weather will not cooperate enough for us to successfully accomplish it. Watch your emails for information about the June date; we are still going to do an Expo this year, just not today.
St Tammany Parish determined that the weather for May 11 will be too risky to hold the Spring Fling at Camp Salmen Nature park and the weather is bad enough that the Boy Scouts will follow their lead. The Boy Scouts do not fear a little rain, but the amount of rain and the lightning that is comming is TOO MUCH. We'll see you in June.
