Cypress District Pinewood Derby Update

The District Pinewood Derby is this Saturday, April 20th. Those participating have been given the rules and procedures flyer. Below is an update on the "refreshments" situation for the event. Please see that info below.

Hi Everyone! 

The District Pinewood Derby is 2 weeks away! If you haven't gotten your participation numbers into us, please do so asap! We are having a special participation award made up for the kids, and if we don't know how many kids are coming from your pack, we won't know how many to have available!

One change to our flyer in regards to the "refreshments". We didn't manage to secure a sponsor for the cost of the trophies, so we will be doing a small concession stand there with snacks/drinks/hotdogs for the families to purchase. All proceeds will go towards the costs associated with the event. I know on our flyer we had asked that people bring their own refreshments to share, but we are now asking that families not do that. If you could get out the word to your parents please for us! :)
