New Docs Site Live

I wanted to highlight to everyone on this list that along with the 3.0 beta release we have launched an all new Documentation platform with Developer & User Docs.

While it is by no means complete it is way beyond what we had before... so please check it out here:

Please feel free to open up issues on the github issue tracker with docs that you would like to see as well.

Also, I am going to be posting updates to the group every time we roll out a new section of the docs... so that you guys can get notified and review.

IMPORTANT: We do not plan to make the docs site 'wiki' style, however we are happy to take contributions even if it is just spelling and grammer fixes. If you are interested in having access to update the docs please contact us directly.

Love the new docs :)

One thing that seems to be missing (and my notes were wrong from a previous install)... The search order for custom templates, and where they are stored (/<siteid>/includes/display_objects/custom/slatwall)

It would also be nice to get a list of the functions available in the object ref.  I find myself having to launch the debugger on a regular basis to see what is there.

Greg has put in lot of obj ref and comments in the front-end templates itself. Check out the code comments there. 

Ultimately we would want to generate the Component API doc using javadoc tool. We are getting there...
