SKU weights missing after 1.2 -> 1.3 upgrade

Hi All,

We recently upgraded a client site from 1.2 to 1.3, and everything went well, EXCEPT the weight settings for individual SKUs have disappeared! They used to be in the product manager, next to the price for each SKU. Was this removed on purpose? Or did we miss something during the upgrade?

So now weight is defined as a "setting" so that it can cascade down through the product types.  That way you can set the weight for all "t-shirts" for example 1 time, instead of every sku.

Ahh, that really sucks. Our client sells shells and wraps for drums, which come in a long tube and then are cut to standard depths. We have each shell style defined as a product, and then each depth as an SKU. Each depth obviously has a different weight. Now since we've gone 1.2 to 1.3, there's no way to change those weights or define new ones for new sizes.

The shipping weights are certainly available in 2.0 (currently the bleeding edge), and I just confirmed that we had commented the UI out of 1.3 (for some reason... not sure why)

Anyway, you can add it back very easily by opening up the following file

/muraWRM/plugins/Slatwall/admin/product/producttabs/skus.cfm

and un-comment line 103, and then also the commented block from line 198-206.

That "should" work for now until 2.0 is a stable release.
