I originally challenged the group to build a simple native Blackberry
Application, not a mobile website (http://groups.google.com/group/
slashroots/msg/96e7951c1866cc74). Most of agreed to the challenge and
agreed they'd love to see even though some of us couldn't participate.
Matthew did a nice job of putting the idea together and document it:

our sprint for June 4, 2011. I got one of the guys from my
company(http://www.hybridtechja.com/) to take a go at it. We were
having internet issues over the weekend, so this is what we managed to
get done:

Great, that you guys got something out.
I tried to download it;
Seeing this prompt, maybe I need to upgrade my BB ( I must admit, I
don't keep up with the BB upgrades etc)

Oh yeah, forgot to state that it won't work on any OS older than 4.6. So I believe it won't install on Geminis and Javelins :(

GREAT Job Wayne. I don't have a BB so I can't check it out. Maybe you can upload a screencast. Unfortunately, I had a book chapter deadline monopolize my time on the weekend, so I couldn't participate. I'm gonna do the code sprint this weekend, so hopefully I'll have something to share by Monday.

Tested it using the OS 5.0 simulator from the Blackberry website (since my "BB" runs 4.3 or 4.5....can't remember). Matthew, you might want to try doing the same.
I especially like that you show the description field directly below the header (title) instead of clicking through to the description like I opted to do with my app.
I feel inspired to take my RSS version a bit further now!
